What is refund protection?

By adding refund protection, you can claim a full refund if you or someone in your group cannot attend the performance. This will cover you in case of bad weather, breakdowns, illness and more.

What will Booking Protect reimburse?

Booking Protect will refund the cost of your booking if you are unable to attend a booked event due to:

  • unforeseen disruption of the public transport network of which one could not reasonably have been aware before the date of the booked event;
  • an accident or illness affecting you or a member of your family;
  • death of the client at any time prior to the booked event or of a close family member within a period of 4 weeks of the booked event;
  • mechanical failure, accident, fire or theft during the journey of your private vehicle to the booked event;
  • jury service of which you were not aware at the time of booking;
  • burglary or fire at your residence in the 48 hours immediately preceding the booked event that required the intervention of the emergency services;
  • a summons to appear as a witness in legal proceedings of which you were unaware at the time of booking;
  • the fact that you are a member of the armed forces and are unexpectedly posted abroad;
  • adverse weather conditions, including snow, frost, fog or storm, for which the police or other government agency has issued a travel ban notice. Confirmation of road closures from the police or relevant government agency is required;
  • permanent relocation for business reasons by your employer at the time of booking more than 100 miles from the booked event, of which you were not aware at the time of booking, or unexpected forced dismissal.
How can I request a refund?

To request a refund for a purchased ticket, please write to the e-mail address indicated on the page Contacts. You will have to fill in a special online form to identify yourself and confirm the reimbursement.
